Our trained, professional staff of caregivers is the vigilant eyes and ears for those families who may not be able to visit their loved one on a regular basis.
Your Comforting Care watches for any changes in health status, eating habits, and hygiene, and keeps track of whether or not they're taking their medications. Although we cannot provide skilled nursing care, we will alert you proactively to any potential issues that need your attention or direct you to additional resources.
Your Comforting Care focuses on our mission statement, which is to assist seniors to feel safe, secure, and comfortable while maintaining independence in their own home.
We achieve our mission of providing safe, secure, services by providing you with a staff that is:
- Professional. Personable. Trustworthy.
We hire only carefully screened individuals who pass a state mandatory background check and drug screening. Each applicant goes through a rigorous interview process and we hire only 12% of those who apply with us.
Our staff is trained, insured, and bonded. After hire, each employee is re-evaluated yearly and as needed. Every employee is required to undergo a two-step tuberculin skin test upon hire. Yearly screenings are also conducted to minimize any risk of possible undetected infection.
- Prepared. Proactive. Responsive.
Your Comforting Care trains our caregivers to be alert and responsive to any changes in the client that warrant further attention from medical personnel or the primary caregiver. Each of our staff members receives certification in CPR. They will promptly contact emergency responders (and you) should it be necessary.
- Licensed. Accredited. Reputable.
Your Comforting Care is comprised of an experienced team of managers and caregivers. We are a licensed provider in Pennsylvania.
We are approved providers for the Pennsylvania Department of Welfare's Aging Waiver Program and Community-based Service Program. These programs assist low income seniors who are nursing home eligible to receive in-home care at little to no out-of-pocket cost.
Our company has an outstanding reputation. We are accredited by the Better Business Bureau and a member of the Fayette Chamber of Commerce.
All employees of Your Comforting Care are bonded and insured, as well as covered by company-provided Worker's Compensation insurance. To ensure that services are provided and conduct proper billing, we utilize time and attendance software that notifies us if an employee does not arrive on time.
- Compassionate. Caring. Competent.
Our staff combines the best qualities that ensure your loved one will always be treated with dignity, respect, and the attention they deserve. We know that every client has different needs, capabilities, and limitations, so we provide one-on-one customized care that is carefully tailored to the individual.
